Capital Crew is a very successful, non-profit, competitive junior rowing program. It has been in existence since 1989 and is based at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma in Gold River, California.
Membership in Capital Crew is open to all high school students (9th thru 12th grade). All first year athletes are placed on the mens or womens novice squads. After completing one year at Capital Crew, the athlete is then placed on the mens or womens varsity squads.
Each year, many of our graduating seniors go on to colleges and universities to row competitively. Many of our athletes are awarded athletic scholarships to attend some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the nation.
